Emily Chalmers is a New York based costume designer for Theatre, TV and film. Traditionally trained in the UK at The University of Kent, Canterbury in Theater Studies, she developed her interest in costume design during her MFAstudies at Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh.  Recent credits include: “Thre3bound” feature film (Exit74 Productions), "The Bitter Tears of Petra Von Kant"(Thirdspace)

“Fireface” (Thirdspace), “You Cant Take It With You” (Carnegie Mellon). She has also designed commercials for Plum Organics as well as assisting on commercials for Dove, Modell’s, Pepsi/NFL, Budweiser and Swedish Fish. Emily is a union member of Local 764 IATSE and has credits with HBO, Comedy Central, Food Network, Sky, Nickelodeon, VH1 and FX. Emily also works at The Julliard School.
